Music lesson prices

I welcome all ages and abilities. My lessons can be undertaken at my home in Altrincham, your home (within Altrincham and surrounding areas), or online (Whatsapp, FaceTime, Skype, or Zoom).

My prices

  • 30 minute lessons: £20.00
  • 45 minute lessons: £25.00
  • 60 minute lessons: £30.00
  • 90 minute lessons: £45.00


Lessons can be paid on a lesson by lesson basis, or in 4 lesson or 8 lesson blocks.  For young children or beginners, I recommend 30 minute lessons.  For more advanced students, 60 minute lessons are ideal.  I also recommend one lesson per week. 


I don't ask you to commit to a minimum number of lessons per year, and I will only charge you for an unattended lesson if I have received no prior notice that you are unable to attend.

First lesson is FREE

It is very important to me that you enjoy your music lessons, and a good relationship between teacher and student will enable you to get the most out of your lessons. 


For this reason I offer the first lesson for free.  This means that you get to meet me before committing to paid lessons under my guidance.  The free lesson contains no hidden obligations and can be booked without any further commitments.


The free lesson will serve as an introduction.  It will begin by focusing on what you want to get out of lessons, whether you want to learn purely for fun, or to undertake examinations with ABRSM or RSL.  The remainder of the lesson will then focus on beginning or continuing your journey to becoming a better musician.
